Delivery Information

Balloon Deliveries to a Business

To ensure your order is delivered to a business address, kindly place the order one day before the intended date of delivery. We cannot guarantee deliveries to a business address if ordered on the same day. Please give us a call (international +00 64 9 8139656 or local 09-8139656) to check if same-day delivery is possible. Also, please leave us the recipient's contact details in case we need them.

Balloon Deliveries to a Residence

In most cases, we require balloon deliveries to be accepted in person and will not be left at the entrance unattended. As much as possible, please indicate phone or mobile number of the recipient, just in case we need to contact him or her prior to the delivery. If the recipient is unavailable to accept the delivery and it is not safe to leave the balloons at his or her doorstep, the driver/dispatcher will take the balloons back to our business depot where the recipient can pick them up. Any request for re-delivery will require payment of redelivery costs.

 

Balloon Deliveries to a Hospital, Hotel or School

Deliveries to a hospital, hotel or school are normally made to the main office or reception. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the school reception or office, for example contacts the student to pick up the balloons.

Float Times

If used indoors, we guarantee the following float times:

 

11-inch latex balloons treated with Hi-Float: 2 days

11 inch latex balloons not treated with Hi-Float: 16 hours

 

Mylar or foil balloons: 4 days 

 

There are no float time guarantees if balloons are used outdoors.

Refunds or Replacements

We will take prompt action to address service issues that are reported no later than 3 days after delivery. After this deadline, no replacements, refunds or credits will be issued. In order for us to provide a replacement or refund, we will require a photograph of balloons reported as defective be emailed to info@creativeballoons.co.nz with a note providing the customer and invoice number.

Cancellations

A. For purchase below $500.00

For a full refund, the deadline to submit is 12pm (New Zeland time), the day prior to the delivery. Orders cancelled or changed after this deadline are subject to a cancellation charge ranging from $20.00 to 100 percent of the order value, depending on the extent of preparations made for the order.

 

We are normally unable to cancel or change an order on the date of delivery.

 

B. For purchase over $500

 

For a full refund, the deadline to submit your request is 12pm New Zealand time, 5 days prior to delivery. Requests received after this deadline are subject to a cancellation charge ranging from 15% to 100% of the order value, depending on the extent of preparations made for the order.

 

We are normally unable to cancel or change an order onthe date of the delivery.
